Rocket Espresso Giotto Fast R

£1,957.00

The Giotto Fast R has everything the Fast V offers (heat-up in under 12 minutes, OLED display, twin pressure gauges, shot timer) and adds a rotary pump. In practice that means less noise, more stable extraction pressure over time and the option to plumb it straight into the mains water supply and do without the tank. The reserve sensor stops the machine cutting out mid-extraction. Insulated 1.8-litre boiler, 30 kg, 1550 W. The version we recommend for heavy daily use, or for anyone who wants the best of the Giotto HX range.

Rotary pump: quiet and ready to plumb in

The difference between the Giotto Fast R and the Fast V is the pump. The R's rotary pump is quieter and longer-lasting, and above all it can be plumbed directly into the mains water supply as well as running from the 1.8-litre tank.

Once it's plumbed in, there's no refilling and it never runs dry. It's the set-up you find in cafés, adapted for your kitchen.

FAST-range rapid heat-up

Rocket designed the FAST platform to slash heat-up time: allow around 12 minutes from switch-on to first extraction, depending on water and room temperature.

A traditional heat exchanger machine often takes twice as long. Day to day, that responsiveness is the difference between a machine you use and a machine you just admire.

Everything in view: OLED, gauges, sensor

The OLED display shows the shot timer and machine information. The twin gauges show boiler and pump pressure side by side, the best guide for dialling in your grind.

The water reserve sensor keeps extractions safe even when the tank is almost empty, and the insulated 1.8-litre boiler keeps consumption down.

Who is the Giotto Fast R for?

For anyone setting up a permanent espresso station who wants the most complete Giotto: rotary pump, mains water connection, rapid heat-up and the timeless lines that made Rocket Espresso's name.

Torn between this and the Fast V? Same boiler, same display, same gauges. The R adds the quiet of a rotary pump and plumbed-in water. An investment you'll notice in every coffee.
