Rocket Espresso R Nine One

£4,695.00

The R Nine One is the home machine in Rocket’s range that comes closest to professional equipment. Two independent stainless steel boilers (1.9 litres for brewing and 3.6 litres for steam) and a fully saturated group give maximum thermal stability. The full pressure profiling system, controlled by a paddle, lets you create your own extraction curves or use the five preset programmes. Dual PID, shot timer, water tank or mains connection, as you prefer. At 47.4 kg, it’s built to last, for anyone who takes espresso seriously.

A commercial machine sized for the kitchen

The R Nine One was born out of Rocket's commercial machine development programme: fully saturated group, digital PID control, a 47 kg chassis. Café equipment, scaled down to 41 cm wide.

A saturated group is the gold standard for thermal stability: brewing water and group are one and the same, at the same temperature, shot after shot.

Pressure profiling: programmes or paddle

Pre-infusion and post-infusion are controlled by a full pressure profiling system: five stored programmes, or manual paddle control, just like on competition machines.

You can recreate a gentle profile for a washed Kenyan or a classic 9-bar profile for an Italian blend. The pressure curve becomes part of the recipe, just like the grind.

Professional-size boilers

1.9 litres for coffee, 3.6 litres for steam: capacities you'd normally find on commercial counter machines. The steam is powerful and dry, and doesn't flag even when you're making milk drinks back to back.

Water supply of your choice: built-in tank or direct mains connection. Touchscreen, PID and shot timer complete the dashboard.

Who is the R Nine One for?

For the home barista who won't settle for any compromise, or for light commercial use: a high-end office, a roastery, a low-volume bar.

It's the Rocket home machine closest to professional equipment. Compared with the R58 Tune, the R Nine One adds the saturated group, the paddle and bigger boilers.
